The price and the number of biscuit sticks did reduce compared to the initial packaging.
This is because of the new protective case… aside from the cost of acquiring the material… the introduction of the case required more spacing in the box, resulting to the reduction of the number of biscuits sticks per pack, to free up space.
Got this data from doing a comprehensive user research from sellers of the biscuits, consumers of age 40-50, current consumers of the new package (age 17-25) and also reading online reviews of the new package.
About the solution for creating a sharing formula, that’s another aspect of product design… which is iteration and product evolution, a product is never completely doing… there is always room for iterations & improvement.
